Countryside Stewardship 2018
The application window for Countryside Stewardship has opened for 2018.
Introduced in 2015, the Countryside Stewardship Scheme has replaced the Entry Level Stewardship and Higher Level Stewardship agreements. There are three types of agreement: Mid-Tier, Higher Tier and Capital Grants. With a number of different Capital Grants available for hedgerows and boundaries, woodland, and water quality there is something for everyone.
2018 has also seen the announcement of four new Countryside Stewardship Agreement types, and these are: online arable, lowland grazing, upland and mixed farming.
If you believe any of the above schemes might be of interest to your farming business, please contact Cari Thomas on 01872 306090 or email email@example.com .
We note that the Rural Payments Agency have been sending emails notifying claimants that they have messages awaiting attention online.
Many of these relate to land mapping changes and do not need any further action at this stage and will be reviewed when we undertake your Basic Payment Application for 2018.
However if you have a “penalty” showing on your Claim Statement and you have received a letter or message regarding this then we would suggest you contact us to investigate further.
